How does a state drug charge became a federal case?

Any drug charge can come under the jurisdiction of ATF or the FBI. Most drugs are also transported across state lines!

Many are also involved in the ';War against Drugs'; and are on that Task Force.

Most small drug offenses the Feds do not get involved with! How does a state drug charge became a federal case?
Ask a lawyer-- they would have the best answer. There is a great lawyer in RI... if you're in that area you should check him out. His website is http://www.rhodeislandscriminaldefensela鈥?/a>How does a state drug charge became a federal case?
Anything with guns or drugs can be federal cases. Most of the time you get convicted by the state and get jail time/probation........then months go by and the marshalls show up at your door and take you in for a 2-3 day stay. If they feel the state has done enough then they won't get involved....otherwise you could get double the punishment.
