What kinds of cases do the federal courts handle?

Federal cases mostly.

?????What kinds of cases do the federal courts handle?
Federal cases covers anything that goes through or had any contact to federal resources. A lot of cases are made because at one point something went through the USPS. This creates a federal involvement. In addition, anything that crosses boarders in middle of a crime, or any involvement with a government department (treasury). What kinds of cases do the federal courts handle?
The easiest to identify is that any case that starts with the name Federal it goes to a Federal court, but it should be worth at least $75k.

Hope it helps....good luck!
Federal courts are reserved for generally 2 types of cases.

First are cases involving questions of constitutionality or violation of Federal law.

The second broad category are disputes between citizens of different states if the amount of money in involved is in excess of $75,000.
All different. Diversity of citizenship, meaning people from different states are involved, federal questions, unfair trade practices, bankruptcy. Be more specific about the case and we can give a better answer.
Any case involving the federal laws, like Michael Vick's dog-fighting, gambling on dog-fighting, any crimes taking place on federal property.
Anything that involves the federal government looking into a federal crime. Counterfeiting, Tax Fraud, Fraud and Forgery, Alcohol and Tobacco laws..etc...
FEDERAL CASES!

emmbezzlement i think... tax evasion for sure
