What are 3 types of cases of federal court jurisdiction?

Diversity, federal question, and supplemental jurisdiction.

Diversity: all parties are domiciled in different states and the amount in issue is at least 75k.

Federal question: the issue deals with federal law.

Supplemental: the claim deals with state law, but is bound up in another claim which is under federal jurisdiction either by diversity or federal question.
