Federal
Not to be flippant, but federal courts have jurisdiction over both civil and criminal federal matters. They also handle appeals from state jurisdictions.
This includes federal crimes like bank robbery, any crime committed on federal property, immigration violations, etc.
And, of course the appellate division hears all sorts of appeals from state cases. The SCOTUS is the court of final jurisdiction for state appeals and is a federal court.
