I received a required application for jury duty.What kind of cases are heard in federal court?

-cases arising under federal law and the constitution


-cases between citizens of different states for amounts greater than $75,000What kind of cases are heard in federal court?
criminal cases for violating federal laws, civil cases involving federal law or where the parties are in two different states. Can even be misdemeanors such as speeding in a national park. Felonies on indian lands. Workers comp involving sailors hurt at sea. Patent violations. Copyright violations. A full description of all possible cases would be impossible. Trials can last an hour or a year.
anything that is government related.. such as a tax problem
