Which court hears more murder cases, Federal or State?

State, unless the murder was committed on Federal property, which makes it a federal crime. If a Federal Agent or Military person was murdered (while on the job) it is also a Federal crime.Which court hears more murder cases, Federal or State?
Federal crimes come into effect when people cross state lines in the commission of a crime, or commit the crime on federal property. That's why when sometimes a person is found not guilty of murder in a state court, the feds can only charge them with violating the victim's civil rights. Murder is primarily a state crime.Which court hears more murder cases, Federal or State?
