Why do leftists want to spring convicted murderers but make a federal case out of a toe tapping gay senator?

Am I missing something? Every trendy convicted killer like Tookie, Mumia, you name it, is a victim of the system and must be given every chance in the world to be a sweetheart. But comes a toe tapping homo named Larry Craig trolling for fresh meat at an airport crapper, and we got a serious problem? I guess I'm just asking for some perspective. Why do leftists want to spring convicted murderers but make a federal case out of a toe tapping gay senator?
Because the left wing liberals are always on the wrong side. They want more rights for the criminal than the victim. Why do leftists want to spring convicted murderers but make a federal case out of a toe tapping gay senator?
See, this is the problem with generalizations. I see myself as a liberal and I haven't heard of Tookie or Mumia. I do think everyone does have, and should be allowed to exercise, their right to due process, and that our so called justice system regularly gives the rich a pass and unjustly hammers the poor. As I remember the Larry Craig affair (pun intended), the liberals mostly sat back, snickered over the hypocrisy not Craigs quirks and watched the far right conservatives eat their own as they are wont to do.
The libs just want to out our closet gays, we are the ones who are going after our own. Our GOP is full of closet gays, President Bush has been a great president for us by bringing closet gays into the inner workings of the executive branch at very high levels. John McCain was even thinking of Charlie Crist - Fla. as VP when Charlie got a fiancee as a beard. If the libs out one of our married closeted homosexuals we should come to their defense, not demand they step down or be prosecuted.
Why do conservatives oppose gay marriage and then go around having gay sex? The liberals are just pointing out the hypocrisy.
They are liberals. Does anything they stand for make sense?
haha.good point
